Multiple agencies, including Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), Brazoria County, Galveston County, City of Houston, and Montgomery County called upon SLS to provide logistics support and equipment assets in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl. This storm was unique in the sense that forecasters projected the storm to hit much further west, near Corpus Christi.

SLS staged assets near Victoria to quickly respond to the direct impact zone. On the night prior to the hurricane making landfall, the storm took a quick turn east and struck within miles of SLS headquarters offices. With key personnel stationed safely in Victoria, the SLS team fulfilled purchase orders from outside the impact zone and utilized additional Response team personnel in Houston to deliver and manage the assets.
