Response Division

Setting Industry Standards

Disasters bring disruption to lives, business and economies. Response must be quick and effective in order to overcome daunting challenges and return communities to stability as rapidly as possible. The SLS team is highly adept at working with governments and agencies at all levels to provide these critical services.

With a complete management, operations and logistics team ready at a moment’s notice and with locations along the Gulf and East Coasts, we are strategically positioned to mobilize immediately and react to disasters of any nature. From emergency sheltering and responder housing to rapid repairs and short-term living solutions, we have led and executed response efforts on some of the most notable disasters in recent years, including Hurricanes Florence, Harvey, Maria, Irma, Ike, Katrina, Rita, Dolly, Irene and Superstorm Sandy.

We have earned a reputation for providing some of the industry’s fastest response and construction times coupled with very high quality ratings. This proven track record in the face of enormous obstacles has made us a leader in the response industry, with an eye on time, quality and efficiency.

Goal Oriented Leadership

Each day, our Response Division President, Aaron Dugas, focuses on achieving goals while keeping his team in a mindset that reminds them why they put the hours in that they do with smiles on their faces. With each response, Aaron specializes in building a team capable of accomplishing the impossible to help rebuild communities in need faster than it's ever been done before.

Rapid Repair:

a proven track record of bringing families home sooner

Rapid and short-term emergency repairs allow residents to shelter in place after a disaster, and provide a much-needed sense of familiarity and normalcy in the face of life-changing events.

Through providing basic structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical repairs, SLS can positively impact a greater number of homes, while providing maximum timing, economic and logistical efficiency for sponsoring governmental entities.

We have a proven track record in this niche industry and have successfully provided these services through numerous Rapid Repair and STEP program vehicles throughout the mainland U.S., as well as the Caribbean Basin.
