Project Summary
In 2012, Superstorm Sandy devastated New York City and surrounding regions, causing massive devastation to the housing stock. SLS was selected to take part in the Build It Back (BIB) Program, New York City’s permanent housing recovery initiative.
SLS was engaged as program and construction manager, and by following the goals of rehabilitating, elevating, and reconstructing as many homes with proper criteria as possible, SLS succeeded in returning over 730 families to their homes.
