Following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, SLS immediately mobilized to support North Carolina’s emergency response efforts.
Eight fully operational base camp sites were deployed across the region, providing turnkey infrastructure for first responders and state personnel engaged in critical recovery operations.
Each site was designed as a self-contained operational hub, offering more than 2,664 beds, climate-controlled sleeping quarters, shower and restroom trailers, and full-service laundry facilities to ensure a safe, consistent, and functional living environment.
To further support responder readiness, SLS delivered comprehensive service packages that included full-service catering, janitorial and sanitation support, onsite medical resources, and dedicated security.
By delivering reliable, end-to-end base camp operations, SLS helped maintain the health, safety, and operational effectiveness of responders throughout their deployment, enabling them to remain focused on restoring impacted communities across North Carolina.
