Project Summary

Texas Department of Emergency Management hired SLS to place shipping containers along the border to deter the large caravans of migrants from crossing the border by blocking low water crossings areas along the Texas-Mexico border. SLS provided and operated the heavy equipment for the offloading of shipping containers in Eagle Pass and Del Rio.

Due to the difficult working environment SLS coordinated with truck drivers for the safe removal of the containers and used heavy equipment to place the shipping containers along the Texas border in areas identified by TDEM.

 

SLS ensured all shipping containers were secure and ready for the next phase of the operation.
