Scope
Community Disaster Recovery after Hurricanes Irma and Maria
Project Summary
In September 2017, Hurricanes Irma and Maria brought catastrophic
damage and flooding to Puerto Rico, leaving two-thirds of the island without power or shelter.
The SLS Team is currently working directly with PR DOH, plus multiple subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to quickly restore or reconstruct between 2,500 and 3,000 safe, compliant, Green Building certified homes with the next five years.
