Project Summary
In the late 2000’s, the Galveston Housing Authority instituted a county-wide redevelopment program that focused on updating and reconstructing many prime public housing locations that underwent severe damage from Hurricane Ike.
SLS redeveloped The Villas from the ground up into a 160-unit mixed-income housing community containing garden apartments, townhomes and flats.
Adjacent to UTMB Galveston, The Villas provide accessible housing for both mixed-income families and medical students.
